Our Universal Shapeoko Laser Upgrade Kit enables you to upgrade your Shapeoko CNC Series machine (Shapeoko, Shapeoko 2, Shapeoko 3, Shapeoko 4, Shapeoko Pro XL and Shapeoko Pro XXL) with high precision laser engraving and laser cutting functionalities. It is a professional laser upgrade kit made with the highest quality components. The mounting and wiring are designed with the focus on the easiness of installation and the quality of user experience.

Please note that since 13 December 2022, the kit-included mount has been swapped - from our Shapeoko 1-3 mount (compatible with XT and XF+ laser heads) to our Shapeoko 4+ & Shapeoko Pro mount (compatible with PLH3D-15W, XT, XF+ and LaserDock). You can add a note to your order: "Please ship with Shapeoko 1-3 mount (SKU: 1455) instead of the new mount (SKU: 2823)."

Cutting and Engraving - PLH3D-6W-XF+ blue laser allows to cut and engrave various materials such as wood, cardboard, rubber, paper, textiles, leather, plastic, balsa, plywood, and many others, as well as mark stainless steel, titanium and low heat conductance subtypes of steel.

Improved Safety - The cutting and engraving laser head is equipped with an “Armed” indication LED, signaling its connection to the power supply and providing alerts for overheating. Additionally, ambient temperature warnings ensure safe operation.

Factory Set Lens - each laser head is shipped with a High-Resolution Triplet lens adjusted to focus at 60.0 mm. This distance is the best-optimized focus distance to start with.

Easy Lens Adjustment: The working (focus) distance can be quickly set or changed with the included lens adjuster, compatible with all M9x0.5 lenses. For certain applications, adjusting the beam for symmetrical engraving is recommended.

Built-in Driver: A short connection between the laser diode and a driver ensures better protection for a diode, possibility of high-frequency current modulation as well as eliminates inductance effects during the switch-on.

No Additional Cooling Required: This lightweight laser requires no additional cooling. The XF+ laser's body acts as a heatsink, allowing it to work constantly for 24 hours, every day.
