Features & Benefits of the PLH3D-XT-50 Laser Engraving and Cutting Head
Precision Cutting and Engraving - The PLH3D-XT-50 blue laser head enables high-precision engraving and cutting of various materials, including wood, cardboard, rubber, paper, textiles, leather, plastic, balsa, plywood, and more. Additionally, it allows for marking stainless steel, titanium, and certain types of steel with low heat conductivity. For more details, check the Manuals and Articles section.
Factory-Preset Lens for High Precision - The PLH3D-XT-50 comes with a factory-set lens, optimized for high-resolution engraving and cutting. The laser is pre-focused at 20 mm (from the front surface of the laser to the working plane), ensuring the smallest possible beam spot, which translates to ultra-detailed engraving and clean cuts.
Versatile Input Signals - The built-in driver supports 0-5V analog input and PWM/TTL signals (0-5V, 0-10V, or 0-24V), making it compatible with most CNC controllers.
Built-in Laser Driver for Stability & Performance - The PLH3D-XT-50 integrates the laser driver directly into the head, improving stability, reducing electrical noise, and supporting high-frequency modulation, allowing precise control at high engraving speeds.
Wide Power Supply Compatibility - The integrated high-efficiency DC-DC converter supports 12V-24V input, ensuring low heat generation and built-in overvoltage protection.
No Additional Cooling Required - The laser head features an optimized heatsink design, tested across multiple prototypes to ensure minimal heat buildup. The module's integrated high-performance fan removes smoke from the working area while keeping the laser diode cool.
Ultra-High-Resolution Lens - The PLH3D-XT-50 includes a High-Resolution Triplet Lens, designed to focus laser light into the smallest possible spot for ultra-detailed engraving. The anti-reflection (AR) coating maximizes laser efficiency, improving engraving contrast and cutting performance.
Powerful Integrated Fan – Smoke Removal & Cooling - The laser module is equipped with one of the most powerful fans on the market for its size, delivering 43 m³/h (25 CFM) of airflow, ensuring both efficient cooling and smoke removal, extending the lifespan of the optics and enhancing engraving precision.
