    • Our choice

These laser glasses can help reduce the probability of light entering the user’s eye from diffusely backscattered laser light. This product is OD 7+ over the range of 190 to 540 nm, blocking deep ultraviolet to green including violet and blue light.

    • This is a PSU dedicated to CLH, PLH and SLH engraving laser heads.

    • This Mounted Aspheric lens is useful to collimate or focus laser light in the visible wavelength regime. The aspheric design nearly eliminates spherical aberration without needing multiple optical elements. It has a broadband AR coating of 400-700 nm, allowing it to be used for various applications.

    • This Mounted Triplet lens can be used to variably focus or collimate the laser light with reduced aberration due to its triplet (three element) design. Its relatively long effective focal length (EFL) of 8 mm allows it to focus laser light to a small spot.

    • This DC-DC converter helps to change 24V into 12V and is dedicated to PLH3D series.

This is a medium power (2 W) mini engraving laser head with a small professional driver.

Its aluminium body assures proper heat transfer to other metal parts which cool the laser head. The driver used in the laser head is in the open frame version which allows the user to mount it directly on metal parts (proper silicone pads are included).

The laser head allows to cut or engrave materials such as wood, paper, leather, cardboard and many other. Thanks to full analog modulation it is possible to engrave in shades of grey or change the output power during turns. High speed modulation (up to 100 kHz) allows to use high movement speed during engraving even complicated patterns.

Module uses a brand new 1,6W (capable of 2W) 445 nm laser diode.

Using collimating lens, it is possible to change the beam focus distance.

Modulation inputs can be used as TTL inputs with their logic levels of 0V and 5V or as an analog input. Analog modulation means that by using 2,5 V on ANG input you get 50% output power, analogically by using 4 V you get 80% output power, etc.

    Recommendations and requirements

    Caution:

Remember that it is not a toy.

Laser radiation is dangerous even when scattered or reflected from any surface.
Always use proper protection laser filter on your CNC machine dedicated to 430 - 480nm in order to avoid reflected radiation.
Never point laser head at people or animals.
Do not touch the beam, it may cause burns.
Do not stare at the beam or the beam spot while the material is being cut.
Laser radiation - Avoid eye or skin exposure to direct or scattered radiation.
    Class 4 laser product.

It is recommended to monitor and assure proper cooling for the MOSFET transistor. The MOSFET must be isolated from the heatsink/plate with silicon pad as well as plastic sleeve (included). Short circuit between MOSFET and heatsink/plate can damage the driver and can be dangerous for the Laser Diode.
Mosfet temperature should be monitored and it can not exceed 70 degrees Celsius.

Air flow is very important during the engraving process since it is blowing out dark smoke which can cause optical obstacle for a laser beam.

    Recommended power supply: 7,5V 2,5A.

    Protection

The analog input is protected by a 5V1 Zener diode. On occasion, there may appear the voltage higher than 5V. Despite everything, this input should not be used with higher voltages.

The output of the driver is protected by a Shottky diode which does not allow the reverse voltage to appear.
