Lab Laser Units for Sample Illumination in Life Sciences and Microscopy Applications

Sample Illumination

Opt Lasers’ lab laser units can illuminate samples with up to six individual wavelengths. Our lab laser products can be used for imaging, bio-detection and reliable measurements in fluorescence microscopy via epi-illumination, optogenetics, DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, MPE (Multiphoton Excitation) microscopy or photodynamic therapy.

Raman Spectroscopy

Our lab laser products can be utilized to identify and quantify illuminated samples by supplying information about intermolecular and intramolecular vibrations to enhance understanding of chemical reactions. This information can be used to identify chemical species by their molecular fingerprints. It can also provide insight into molecular and crystal lattice backbone structure. They can also be used as a means to monitor crystallization processes and reaction kinetics.

High Power Single Wavelength Laser Module for Laboratory Applications

High Power Single Wavelength Lab Laser Units

Opt Lasers manufactures high-intensity, single wavelength lab lasers. We specialize in visible wavelength lab laser products, including blue laser modules, green laser modules and red laser modules. We offer standard power ranges available for the following wavelengths:

  • Near-UV (405 nm) Laser Modules: 400 mW to 3 W
  • Deep Blue (445 nm) Laser Modules: 650 mW to 30 W
  • Teal (462 nm) Laser Modules: 600 mW to 8 W
  • Green (520 nm) Laser Modules: 500 mW to 3 W
  • Red (638 nm) Laser Modules: 450 mW to 3.6 W
  • Near-Infrared Laser Modules: 700 mW to >30 W

Note 1 - In many cases it is possible to provide higher power levels lab lasers than those listed above with small modifications to already-existing designs. Feel free to contact us to discuss your application or requirements.

Note 2 - Various NIR wavelengths such as 785 nm, 793 nm, 808 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, 915 nm, 940 nm, 980 nm and 1064 nm are available. Other power levels can also be provided. Please feel free to contact us for details.

Multi-wavelength Laser Module Units

We manufacture standard RGB Laser Module units as well as Multi-wavelength Laser Module products. For our multi-wavelength laser module units, up to five colors can be emitted simultaneously. Each channel can have 3 W, and the total power can exceed 20 W. This is achieved through beam combining using dichroic mirrors, knife edging, polarization combining and various packaging methods developed specifically for this product family. We offer standard laser module power ranges at wavelengths such as:

  • Near-UV (405 nm) Laser Modules: 400 mW to 3 W
  • Deep Blue (445 nm) Laser Modules: 650 mW to 14 W
  • Teal (465 nm) Laser Modules: 600 mW to 8 W
  • Green (520 nm) Laser Modules: 500 mW to 3 W
  • Red (638 nm) Laser Modules: 450 mW to 3.6 W
  • Near-Infrared Laser Modules: 500 mW to 5 W

Remark 1 - Either 445 or 465 nm can be offered in a standard configuration.

Remark 2 - NIR power levels are given for 808 nm as an example of a possible configuration. However, we are also able to offer 785 nm, 830 nm and 850 nm laser modules.

Remark 3 - In most cases it is possible to provide higher power levels than those listed above with small modifications to already-existing designs. Feel free to contact us to discuss your application or requirements.
